There are certain evenings when the weather becomes soft, breezy, peaceful… and somehow the heart automatically starts travelling backwards.
Back to old conversations.
Old photographs.
Old videos.
Old moments that once felt ordinary, but today feel priceless.

And lately, I have realized something about myself.

I truly love revisiting memories.

Not casually.
Not once in a while.
But deeply.

I can watch the same video ten times and still smile at the same second.
I can look at the same photograph again and again and still feel the emotion attached to it.
Sometimes my friends laugh at me.
My husband often says, “How can you watch the same photos and videos so many times?”

But the truth is… every time I revisit them, I do not just see the memory.
I feel it again.

The laughter.
The comfort.
The warmth.
The innocence of that exact moment.

And maybe that is the beauty of memories — they allow us to emotionally travel through time.

Some moments leave such a deep imprint on our hearts that they quietly become a part of us forever. In fact, I have watched some photographs and videos so many times that today, if someone simply mentions that moment, I instantly remember the feeling attached to it. The memory becomes alive within seconds.

That is when I realized something beautiful:

Capturing moments is not about living behind the camera. It is about giving ourselves another chance to relive happiness someday.

And honestly, I love people who capture memories.

These days when I see children constantly recording videos, clicking random pictures, making little clips of daily life, I no longer see it as “too much.”
Instead, I think:

One day these moments will become treasures for them.

Years later, they may sit quietly on a rainy evening, open an old gallery, and suddenly smile at a forgotten moment that once made their heart happy.

And isn’t that magical?

I still remember our childhood days when photographs were not unlimited.
We had those old Kodak roll cameras where every picture mattered because the film roll had limited space.
We used to wait excitedly for the photographs to get printed. Every click carried value.

Today technology has completely changed the way we preserve life.

Now we can instantly capture anything — a smile, a sunset, a family dinner, a random laugh, a sleepy child, a small victory, a peaceful morning.

Yes, technology has its negatives too.
But somewhere, in this beautiful way, it has helped us preserve emotions.

A small video today can become emotional medicine tomorrow.

Of course, I am not saying every single moment should be photographed. Some moments are meant to be lived fully without screens. But there are certain memories… certain people… certain phases of life… that deserve to be safely kept close to our hearts.

Because time passes silently.

Children grow up.
People change.
Homes change.
Voices change.
Life changes.

But photographs and videos hold tiny pieces of time that never return again.

And maybe that is why I feel so connected to photography, videography, and cinematography.
I genuinely love capturing moments.
I love getting clicked.
I love saving emotions.
I love preserving life in little frames.

Because one day, when life feels too fast or too heavy, those memories softly remind us:

You lived this.
You smiled here.
You were loved here.
You were happy here.

So today, I just want to say this —

Take out your old albums sometime.
Open those forgotten folders in your phone.
Watch those old videos sitting quietly.
Revisit the moments you once lived wholeheartedly.

And then notice how beautifully memories can make the heart smile again.

Because sometimes…
memories are not meant to be left behind.

Sometimes they are meant to be revisited, cherished, and felt all over again. 🤍
